and the Anaheim Ducks
have avoided an arbitration hearing, as the sides agreed to a three-year deal Tuesday.
CBC reported Tuesday morning that Cogliano, who was acquired from the Edmonton Oilers
last week in exchange for a 2013 second-round draft pick, will receive just over $7 million over the length of the deal.
The 24-year-old never has missed a game since entering the NHL in 2007. In 328 games -- all with the Oilers -- Cogliano has 57 goals and 89 assists. He had 11 goals and 24 assists in 82 games last season.
The Oilers originally drafted Cogliano with the 25th pick of the 2005 Entry Draft.
