Clark scores hat trick as Brandon rallies to take 2-0 series lead over Tigers @NHLdotcom

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - Andrew Clark scored a hat trick as the Brandon Wheat Kings came out on top of a wild 8-6 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers to take a 2-0 Eastern Conference semifinal series lead in Western Hockey League playoff action Sunday night.

Keith Aulie, Brayden Schenn, Matt Lowry, Matt Calvert and Brodie Melynchuk added goals for the Wheat Kings, who trailed 5-2 late in the first period before scoring five straight goals.

Zdenek Okal had a hat trick for the Tigers, while Bretton Cameron, Brennan Bosch and Linden Vey also scored.

Andrew Hayes started in goal for the Wheat Kings, but he was pulled after allowing four goals on eight shots. James Priestner stopped 11 shots in relief and also earned the win in goal. Ryan Holfeld made 23 saves suffering the loss in goal for the Tigers.

The series now shifts to Brandon, Man., for Game 3 on Wednesday.
