MISSISSAUGA, Ont., - Centre Casey Cizikas scored a pair of goals and an assist to power the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors to a 3-1 victory over the Sudbury Wolves Sunday afternoon in the Ontario Hockey League.

Dustin Ekelman had the other goal for Mississauga , while goaltender Chris Carrozzi made 21 saves for his sixth win of the season.

John Kurtz had the lone goal for Sudbury , and Andrew Loverock stopped 32 shots.

Cizikas, selected in the fourth round by the New York Islanders last June, pounced on a rebound at the edge of the crease and shovelled a backhand shot behind Sudbury netminder Andrew Loverock with 2:56 to play in regulation time to break a 1-1 tie.

Cizikas then capped the win for the Majors when he scored on an empty net a little more than two minutes later. He assisted on Dustin Ekelman's third goal of the season early in the second period to put Mississauga ahead 1-0.

"The coach (Mississauga coach Dave Cameron) has been getting on me to jump on those rebounds," Cizikas said in referring to his go-ahead marker that ended a personal five-game scoring drought. "I was happy to see the puck come out to me the way it did and I was relieved to see it go in."
