ROCKFORD, Ill. - Christian Thomas scored a tiebreaking goal 4:35 into the third period and the Hamilton Bulldogs held on for a 2-1 victory over the Rockford IceHogs in American Hockey League action on Tuesday.
Charles Hudon also scored for the Bulldogs (15-13-5), finding the back of the net with his 10th goal of the season just 2:55 into the first period.
Dennis Rasmussen replied for the IceHogs (19-11-4), tying the game less than three minutes later.
Hamilton goaltender Mike Condon stopped 40 shots to pick up the win. Rockford's Scott Darling made 28 saves in defeat.
Neither team scored on the power play. The Bulldogs were 0 for 3 while the IceHogs were 0 for 4.
