Chiefs score two quick third-period goals in 5-2 win over Winter Hawks @NHL

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs scored two goals 20 seconds apart in the third period in a 5-2 Western Hockey League win over the Portland Winter Hawks on Wednesday.

Koper Levko, Drayson Bowman and Blake Gal scored power-play goals for Spokane (7-1-0-2). David Conrad and Mitch Wahl added even-strength goals.

Koper, Bowman and Wahl each added an assist.

Travis Ehrhardt and Luke Walker both had a goal and an assist for Portland (1-7-0-0) in the loss. Both Winter Hawk goals came on power plays, and they finished 2-for-6 on the man advantage on the night.

Spokane goaltender James Reid picked up his first WHL victory in, stopping 30 of 32 shots, while Kurtis Mucha stopped 35 of 39 shots in net for Portland.
