Chiefs score three times in the second, rally to beat Thunderbirds 3-2

KENT, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs scored three unanswered goals in the second period to overcome a two-goal deficit and beat the Seattle Thunderbirds 3-2 in Western Hockey League action Sunday.

Sena Acolatse opened the scoring for Seattle (13-22-6) with his 13th of the season on the power play at 10:10 of the first period.

Seattle made it 2-0 when Charles Wells tipped in Prab Rai's shot at 17:02.

Steve Kuhn cut the lead in half at 3:26 of the second period. Ryan Letts tied it for Spokane (23-13-3) at 14:33 before Kenton Miller scored the game-winner for the Chiefs at 18:48.

Seattle outshot Spokane 39-28 in the game but backup goaltender Michael Tadjdeh had 37 saves to pick up the win for the Chiefs.
