Chiefs score three in second period, defeat Tigers 4-2 @NHLdotcom

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - The Spokane Chiefs scored three goals in the second period in a 4-2 victory over the Medicine Hat Tigers in Western Hockey League action Wednesday night.

With the win, the Chiefs improved to 25-15-4, while the Tigers fell to 28-14-2 before a sellout crowd of 4,006 fans.

Mitch Wahl, Kenton Miller, Dominik Uher and Levko Koper scored for the Chiefs. Emerson Etem had both goals for the Tigers.

Tyler Bunz turned away nine of 12 shots starting in goal for the Tigers. Deven Dubyk stopped 17 of 18 shots in a relief appearance. James Reid turned away 25 shots in goal for the Chiefs.
