SPOKANE, Wash. - Darren Kramer had a goal and an assist as the Spokane Chiefs scored three times in the third period en route to a 3-1 victory over the Everett Silvertips on Saturday in the WHL.
Cody Fowlie scored at 13:08 of the first period to open the scoring for the Silvertips (1-5-2).
Then captain Kramer had an easy tap-in from the doorstep after a pretty cross-ice feed from Brenden Kichton to tie the game at 8:34 of the second period.
Less than a minute later, on a power play, Kramer fed Mitch Holmberg for the winner at 9:41.
Steven Kuhn set up Dominik Uher for the clincher in the final minute.
The Chiefs (5-2-1) are now 5-0 at home.
Mac Engel picked up the win with 20 saves while Kent Simpson lost, facing 38 shots.
