Just some mutual respect between Philadelphia sports legends.

Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley received quite a gift from Philadelphia Flyers GM and former goalie Ron Hextall.

Barkley played the first eight of his 16 NBA seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers, and Hextall, of course, spent 11 of his 14 NHL seasons between the pipes for the the Flyers, winning the Conn Smythe and Vezina trophies for the 1986-87 season.
Barkley, the 1992-93 NBA MVP while playing for the Phoenix Suns, has
spoken in the past about his respect for Hextall
during his playing days, a feeling that Hextall called "mutual."
During an appearance on The Mike Missanelli Show on Philadelphia's 97.5 The Fanatic, Barkley was presented with an autographed No. 27 sweater.

The GM's note read: "Charles, My All Time Favorite NBA Player. Ron Hextall."
