Chappell scores twice on power-play as Saginaw beats the Greyhounds 6-3

SAGINAW, Mich. - Chris Chappell scored twice and Nick Crawford added three assists to help power the Saginaw Spirit past the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 6-3 on Sunday afternoon in the Ontario Hockey League.

The Spirit (19-8-0-1) scored four powerplay goals on 10 opportunities to capture their fourth straight win. Joe Underwood, T. J. Brodie, Mitch Fillman and Tyler Murovich added goals for Saginaw.

Michael Fine had a goal and two assists while Anthony Peluso had a goal and an assist and Matt Caria added two assists for the Greyhounds (13-15-1-1), who winless in five games. Matthew Lyall also scored.

Edward Pasquale made 22 saves and Cody St. Jacques stopped 38 as the Spirit outshot Sault Ste. Marie 44-25.
