Paquette fined for actions in Lightning game against Panthers

Assessed $2,500 for high-sticking incident against Florida forward Vatrano

NEW YORK - Tampa Bay Lightning forward Cedric Paquette  has been fined $2,500 for high-sticking Florida Panthers forward Frank Vatrano  during NHL Preseason Game No. 83 in Sunrise, Fla., on Thursday, Sept. 26, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 18:12 of the third period. Paquette was assessed a minor penalty for high-sticking.

The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
