Carson Dubchak scores hat trick as Greyhounds cruise by Generals 5-3 @NHLdotcom

SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. - Carson Dubchak scored a hat trick as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds beat the Oshawa Generals 5-3 in Ontario Hockey League play Sunday.

Dubchak added an assist to make it a four-point night as the Greyhounds won their second straight game after snapping an eight-game winless skid Friday night.

The two teams traded goals in the opening period and the Greyhounds opened up a 4-3 lead through 40 minutes.

Corey Durocher and Michael Schumacher also scored for Sault Ste. Marie while Brett Findlay set up a pair of goals.

Goaltender Jack Campbell stopped 24 shots, including 11 in the third period for the Greyhounds (16-14-4).

Lucas Lessio, Andy Andreoff and Scott Sabourin scored for the Generals (13-16-4) in the loss while goalie Daniel Altshuller made 36 saves.
