Carolina Hurricanes prospect Alex Nedeljkovic lived the dream of every goalie Friday.

Nedeljkovic, a second-round pick (No. 37) in the 2014 NHL Draft, was playing for the Florida Everblades of the ECHL when he scored into an empty net in the waning seconds of a 5-3 win against the Atlanta Gladiators.

Nedeljkovic became the 12th ECHL goalie to score, and the first since Brian Foster of Cincinnati in 2013. And Nedeljkovic's offensive prowess did not come at the expense of his regular job as he made 39 saves.
