wolves goalie goal

If you are going to hit the goalie goal, you should hit the celly just as hard.
Allow
Pyotr Kochetkov
to show you the way.

The Chicago Wolves goalie scored a long-distance goal in an American Hockey League game against the Manitoba Moose on Friday, and then went off on a wild celebration with teammates.
We will let the video, shared by the Wolves on social media, do the talking.

Kochetkov, a 23-year-old in the Carolina Hurricanes system, played a puck behind the net, had some room to move to his left, and let it fly from well behind the goal line.
The high-arching puck made it over everyone on the ice and skidded into the opposite net. Then things got wild.
Kochetkov skated out to center ice, banged on the glass, and leaped into the arms of teammate Jack Drury. Afterward, he skated over to the bench for handshakes, not unlike Linus Ullmark when he scored for the Boston Bruins.

The Hurricanes were plenty proud of their player.

Kochetkov has played 22 NHL games for the Hurricanes, going 13-4-5 with a .912 save percentage, 2.39 goals-against average and three shutouts.
