Carlson scores tying and winning goal as the Cougars beat the Chiefs 4-3 in a SO

SPOKANE, Wash. - Cody Carlson scored the tying goal in the third period and then the winner in a shootout as the Prince George Cougars came from behind to beat the Spokane Chiefs 4-3 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Jordan Tkatch and Alex Forsberg also scored for the Cougars (12-19-2).

Jason Fram, Steven Kuhn and Anthony Bardaro each scored for the Chiefs (14-9-5).

Drew Owsley made 22 saves for the win while Mac Engel turned aside 14 shots in defeat.

Prince George was 1-for-5 on the power play while Spokane failed to score on either of their opportunties with the man advantage.
