Carlson scores twice as the Cougars down the Hurricanes 6-3 @NHLdotcom

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. - Cody Carlson scored twice and set up one more as the Prince George Cougars defeated the Lethbridge Hurricanes 6-3 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Jesse Forsberg, Greg Fraser, Daulton Siwak and Jordan Tkatch also scored for the Cougars (14-26-2), who snapped a five-game losing streak. Troy Bourke chipped in with three assists.

Brady Ramsay, Craig Leverton and Brody Sutter scored for the Hurricanes (16-28-1).

Drew Owsley made 49 saves for the win while Damien Ketlo allowed five goals on 23 shots before being pulled in the second period.

Liam Liston came on in relief and stopped 16 of 17 shots faced.

Prince George went 2 for 10 on the power play as Lethbridge went 1 for 5.
