Carlo Colaiacovo's late goal lifts Blues to 4-3 preseason win over Wild
NHL.com @NHLdotcomST. PAUL, Minn. - Carlo Colaiacovo scored with 1:09 to play to give the St. Louis Blues a 4-3 pre-season win over the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night.
Matt D'Agostini of the Blues tied the game 3-3 with a power-play goal with 7:30 left in the third period.
Scott Nichol, who returned from off-season surgery to repair a torn labrum, and Patrik Berglund also scored for St. Louis (4-2).
Marek Zidlicky, Mikko Koivu and Brett Bulmer scored for the Wild (3-2), which led 3-1 early in the second.
Newcomers Dany Heatley and Devin Setoguchi both had two assists for Minnesota.
Bulmer replaced Brad Staubitz, who will miss the rest of the pre-season and the first three regular season games after being suspended by the NHL for his boarding major against Columbus on Friday.
