Caria caps hat trick with OT winner as Plymouth beats Sarnia 3-2 @NHLdotcom

SARNIA, Ont. - Matt Caria completed his hat trick with a goal five minutes and 20 seconds into overtime as the Plymouth Whalers evened their Western Conference quarter-final series against the Sarnia Sting with a 3-2 victory on Sunday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

After Sarnia scored twice in the opening five minutes of the game, Caria scored midway through the first period and added a power-play marker with 27 seconds left in the second to tie the game at 2-2. He scored the overtime winner on a power play as well after Sting defenceman Brent Sullivan was sent off for interference.
