Caria and Terry help the Plymouth Whalers double up on Sudbury 4-2 @NHLdotcom

PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Matt Caria and Chris Terry each had a goal and an assist as the Plymouth Whalers downed the Sudbury Wolves 4-2 in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday night.

Tyler J. Brown and Vern Cooper also scored for Plymouth (22-20-5-0), while A.J. Jenks contributed two helpers. The Whalers moved into sixth position in the Western Conference, one point ahead of the Erie Otters.

Goaltender Matt Hackett earned the win making 29 saves.

Sudbury (19-21-2-4) got both goals from 2008 OHL first-overall draft pick John McFarland. Netminder Alain Valiquette stopped 48 shots in a losing effort.
