MONTREAL - Goaltender Carey Price is the Molson Cup recipient for the month of November (14 points). He succeeds defenseman Shea Weber who was the Molson Cup award winner for October.

Price was selected as first star of the game three times (on November 2 versus Vancouver, November 8 against Boston and November 26 at Detroit), earned second star twice (on November 10 against Los Angeles and November 19 versus Toronto) and was a third star once (on November 12 against Detroit). Price finished ahead of teammates Phillip Danault, Andrew Shaw and Andrei Markov.
The 29-year old goaltender had an 8-2-1 record in 11 games in November, with a 1.81 goals against average. He stopped 334 of the 354 shots he faced for a .944 save percentage. Price ranked tied for second among NHL goaltenders in November in wins, save percentage and shutouts (2 - on November 2 against Vancouver and November 12 versus Detroit).
Carey Price will be presented with the Molson Cup during a ceremony prior to the game Thursday night against the New Jersey Devils at the Bell Centre.
