TBL@WSH: Capitals greet Captain upon arrival

Just call Captain Santa Paws.

The Washington Capitals service dog in training dressed as Santa and greeted the team members upon entrance to Capital One Arena for their game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday.
Many of the Capitals players met Captain decked out in stellar Christmas-themed suits. Carl Hagelin's was blue had Santas and presents on it. Garnet Hathaway's was green and had candy canes, snowflakes and jingle bells. Jakub Vrana's was red with wreaths, ornaments and other holiday themes.

Once they were dressed, the Capitals were met by the big guy himself, Santa Claus, who performed an exquisite rendition of the national anthem.

The Capitals even sent their fans home happy, with a 3-1 win in their final home game before the holiday break.
