Capitals to start Neuvirth against Maple Leafs @NHLdotcom

Michal Neuvirth, who last started for the Washington Capitals on Nov. 22, will get the start Friday night at Verizon Center against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Neuvirth had been sidelined by a lower-body injury and the Capitals have been carrying three goalies since his return. However, rookie Philipp Grubauer has earned the majority of playing time while Braden Holtby, the No. 1 at the start of the season, has struggled.
