WASHINGTON - Jason Chimera scored a power-play goal and had an assist during another man advantage to help the Washington Capitals win 4-2 over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday.

Alex Ovechkin and T.J. Oshie also scored against Tampa Bay's usually reliable penalty kill.

Marcus Johansson added an even-strength goal in the Capitals' fourth straight victory, while John Carlson picked up his 12th and 13th assists.

Braden Holtby made 32 saves for Washington to preserve his sixth consecutive victory.

Andrei Vasilevskiy made 33 saves for the Lightning. No. 1 goaltender Ben Bishop was rested in the first of back-to-back games for Lightning, who had their three-game winning streak snapped.

Brian Boyle and Victor Hedman scored late for Tampa Bay.

After four games without conceding a goal while a man down, Tampa Bay succumbed on three of Washington's four power plays.
