Capitals recall Wilson from AHL, reassign Brown @NHLdotcom

The Washington Capitals on Tuesday recalled forward Tom Wilson from Hershey of the American Hockey League.

Wilson, 20, appeared in all 82 regular-season games for the Capitals last season and had three goals, 10 points and 151 penalty minutes. He made his NHL debut during the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs, going scoreless in three games.

Wilson played two games in Hershey this season while rehabbing from a lower-body injury.

Forward Chris Brown was reassigned to Hershey in a corresponding roster move. Brown had one goal in three games this season for the Capitals.
