Capitals recall G Cassivi @NHLdotcom

WASHINGTON (AP) -With Olie Kolzig out with a knee injury, the Washington Capitals recalled goalie Frederic Cassivi from Hershey of the American Hockey League on Tuesday.

Kolzig was injured during practice Monday and will be sidelined at least three weeks. Brent Johnson becomes the starter during Kolzig's absence.

Cassivi backed up Kolzig for two games earlier this month while Johnson was injured, but did not play. Cassivi was the MVP of the AHL playoffs last season and has a 15-7-4 record and 2.55 goals-against average this season with Hershey.
