Canucks select right-winger Brock Boeser 23rd overall at NHL Draft @NHLdotcom

SUNRISE, Fla. - Brock Boeser was selected 23rd overall by the Vancouver Canucks on Friday night at the NHL Draft.

The six-foot right-winger played for the Waterloo Black Hawks in the United States Hockey League.

He was ranked third in the USHL with 68 points last season.

Boeser won gold with the United States at the 2014 World Jr. A Challenge.

He has committed to play for the University of North Dakota.
