Reynolds Sedins

When actor and Vancouver native Ryan Reynolds was receiving one of the Canada's highest honors, it's no surprise his beloved Canucks were involved.

The awards are presented annually to Canadians in a variety of fields and this year, Reynolds was the recipient of the National Arts Centre Award. To mark the occasion, Canadian musician Steve Page sang a song written just for Reynolds called, "Canada Loves You Back," featuring people from the many organizations across the country that the actor supports.
Also included in the video, around the 1:30 mark, was a cameo from Henrik and Daniel Sedin, both wearing Reynolds Canucks jerseys, Stan Smyl and Canucks mascot FIN, to Reynolds' delight. He mouthed, "Wow," when he saw them during his emotional reaction.

"Last night, Canada honoured me with a Governor General's Award and this video," Reynolds said in a tweet with the video. "I'm not crying. It's just maple syrup. @stevenpage is a friend and legend for wasting this amazing song on me. Thank you to Her Excellency, @GGCanada, Mary Simon. #GGAwards @CanadasNAC I'm a wreck."
He added in a follow-up tweet, "I'm glad I don't have to be dead to experience something like this. I'm so beyond touched right now. I recommend making a list of people you appreciate, then immediately telling them. You don't even have to write this list with the blood of your enemies. Just a regular pen works."
