Canucks launch long homestand against Blues @NHLdotcom
After finishing February with six road games, the Vancouver Canucks are ready to begin March by staying at home for a couple of weeks.

The NHL's best team welcomes St. Louis to Rogers Arena for a 10 p.m. ET start in one of nine games on Thursday's NHL schedule. The Canucks ended a 3-1-2 trip with a 2-1 shootout loss at Phoenix on Tuesday -- their last game away from home until March 19.

Thursday's action begins with four games at 7 p.m. ET. The New York Islanders visit Philadelphia, which is home after a 1-0 loss at San Jose on Tuesday ended a four-game road trip. The Eastern Conference-leading New York Rangers visit Carolina, New Jersey visits Boston and Minnesota is at Montreal in a game that can be seen in Canada on CBC and RDS.

At 8:30, Florida brings a four-game road winning streak into Winnipeg. The Jets are four points behind the first-place Panthers in the Southeast Division.

Two more games begin at 9 p.m. ET. Colorado, which beat the Blue Jackets 5-0 in Columbus last Friday, hosts them at the Pepsi Center. The NHL's best team in February, the Phoenix Coyotes, begin March by hosting Calgary. The Coyotes went 11-0-1 in February to take over first place in the Pacific Division.

In the final game of the night, Buffalo continues a swing through the West with a visit to San Jose at 10:30 p.m. ET.
