Canucks go for seven in a row @NHL
The Vancouver Canucks are making winning look awfully easy these days.

The Canucks have won six in a row and are 11-0-2 in their last 13 as they prepare to host the Calgary Flames at 10 p.m. ET in one of six games on Wednesday night's NHL schedule. Win No. 6 came Monday night at San Jose, when the Canucks wrapped up a sweep of their three-game road trip with a 4-3 victory. That game ended about 90 minutes after the Flames saw their four-game winning streak end with a 5-2 home loss to the New York Islanders.

Wednesday's action begins with a pair of games that face off at 7 p.m. ET. The New York Rangers are back home after Sunday's 3-0 loss at Florida to host Carolina. The 'Canes are also coming off a loss to Florida, which won 4-3 at Carolina on Monday.

After a couple of days to rest following the Winter Classic, the Pittsburgh Penguins go back inside for a game against Tampa Bay. The Pens have dropped their last two, including Saturday's outdoor loss to Washington, and Sidney Crosby has gone without a point in those games after a 25-game scoring streak. That game can be seen in Canada on the NHL Network.

Florida moves on to Atlanta, where the Thrashers are home for the first time in the new year after winning 4-3 in overtime at Montreal on Sunday.  That game starts at 7:30.

At 8:30, Chicago is back home after Monday's 4-3 win at Los Angeles to host Dallas. The Stars continue a Midwest swing that began with Sunday's 4-2 win at St. Louis.

Also at 10, the Anaheim Ducks host Nashville. Anaheim won its first game of 2011 by edging Chicago 2-1 on Sunday, while the Predators start a California trip after Sunday's 4-1 home win against Columbus.
