Cann stops 22 against his former team as Knights beat Petes 5-2

LONDON, Ont. - Trevor Cann stopped 22 shots against his former team as the London Knights won their seventh straight game, 5-2 over the Peterborough Petes in the Ontario Hockey League Friday night.

Vladimir Roth had two goals, while John Carlson, Daniel Erlich and Justin Taylor also scored for London (18-5-0-1). Phil Varone contributed four assists.

Tony Romano and Jeff Braithwaite replied for the Petes (11-14-0-1).

Peterborough netminder Jason Missiaen made 37 saves.
