PITTSBURGH (AP) - Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban was struck in the face by the stick of Pittsburgh's Mike Comrie and left the game late in the first period Saturday night.
While behind the net during a Pittsburgh power play, Comrie reached for the puck and clipped Subban, who struggled to the bench and went to the locker room with a towel over his face. There was no immediate word on his condition.
Comrie was given a double penalty for high-sticking.
