Canadiens agree to terms with defenseman Tinordi

MONTREALMontreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin announced on Wednesday that defenseman Jarred Tinordi has agreed to terms on a one-year, two way contract (2015-16).

Tinordi, 23, played 13 games with the Canadiens in 2014-15. He recorded two points (2 assists) and was assessed 19 penalty minutes. He registered 20 hits and 20 blocked shots. The Burnsville, Minnesota native also took part in 44 games with the AHL’s Hamilton Bulldogs, recording seven points (1 goal, 6 assists), and 36 penalty minutes.
