Canadiens acquire forward Robert Lang from Chicago for second-rounder @NHLdotcom

MONTREAL - The Montreal Canadiens have bolstered their offence, adding veteran forward Robert Lang.

The Canadiens have acquired Lang from the Chicago Blackhawks for a second-round pick in 2010.

Lang will be paid US$4 million in the last year of his contract.

Lang, 37, had 21 goals and 54 points in 76 games with Chicago last season.

The Habs also re-signed defenceman Patrice Brisebois to a one-year deal.

He had three goals and 11 points in 43 games last year.
