PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. - Dustin Cameron's goal late in the second period stood as the game winner as the Prince Albert Raiders held on for a 4-3 win over the Regina Pats on Friday night in the Western Hockey League.

Cameron's goal gave the Raiders (2-2-0-0) a comfortable 4-1 lead, but the Pats (0-2-0-1) made things interesting late. Michael MacAngus trimmed the lead at with 1:11 left in regulation, and Jordan Eberle made it 4-3 on a Regina power play 41 seconds later.

That was as close as the Pats would come, as Prince Albert netminder Steven Stanford preserved the win with a 35-save performance.

Justin Bernhardt, James Dobrowolski and Ryan McDonald had the other goals for the Raiders.

Jordan Weal added a single for Regina, which had 30 saves from Jeff Bosch.
