Cameron, Etem and MacKay lead Tigers over Rebels 9-2 in WHL play @NHLdotcom

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - The Medicine Hat Tigers had no trouble disposing of the Red Deer Rebels on Friday night.

Bretton Cameron, Emerson Etem and Matt MacKay each scored twice as the Tigers bombed the visiting Rebels 9-2 in Western Hockey League action.

Linden Vey, Joey Frazer and Tristan King had the other goals for Medicine Hat (7-3-4). Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Willie Coetzee replied for the Rebels (6-8-0).

Tyler Bunz made 28 saves in goal for Medicine Hat to get the win.

Darcy Kuemper allowed seven goals on 43 shots in for the Red Deer. Kraymer Barnstable allowed two goals on seven shots in relief.
