Calvert has five points as Brandon Wheat Kings thrash Regina Pats 9-3

REGINA - Matt Calvert had a hat trick and added two assists as the Brandon Wheat Kings surged to a 9-3 win over the Regina Pats in Western Hockey League action Friday night.

Brayden Schenn and Scott Glennie both had a goal and three assists for Brandon (49-18-4), while Brenden Walker, Brent Raedeke, Shayne Wiebe, and Toni Rajala added singles. Jacob De Serres made 28 saves for the win.

Jordan Eberle, Hampus Gustafsson and Brett Leffler supplied the offence for Regina (30-34-7). Damien Ketlo stopped three of seven shots before being replaced by Dawson Guhle who saved 26 of 31 shots.
