Rosen mom

Calle Rosen's mother knows best.

The St. Louis Blues defenseman's mom, Marie, successfully predicted her son would score first in a video posted by the team on Twitter before its game against the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday.

Rosen opened the scoring with a deflected shot to give St. Louis a 1-0 lead with just over five minutes left in the first period. The goal was Rosen's second of the season.

Marie celebrated the goal with the other mothers in a suite at United Center in Chicago.

The Blues are having their first-ever mom's road trip. They are hosting 21 mothers for the two games at Chicago and the Colorado Avalanche on Monday.
The mothers kicked off the road trip singing together after a 3-2 win in Denver.

They also had some fun trying on their son's hockey gear and playing cards on the plane to Chicago.

Moms totally have more fun.
