Callahan scores winner as Kelowna Rockets fly to 5-3 win over Kamloops @NHLdotcom

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Forward Mitchell Callahan broke a 3-3 tie at 15:46 of the third period as the Kelowna Rockets scored a 5-3 Western Hockey League win over the Kamloops Blazers on Friday night.

Brandon McMillan scored twice for Kelowna (29-26-4), while Geordie Wudrick and Codey Ito also tallied.

Jordan DePape, Ryan Funk and Brendan Ranford replied for Kamloops (26-27-6).

The Rockets are sixth in the Western Conference, four points ahead of the Blazers. The teams meet again tonight in Kelowna.

Kelowna goaltender Adam Brown stopped 17 shots, while the Blazers Kurtis Mucha turned aside 40.
