Flames pay tribute to TJ Brodie

TJ Brodie returned to Calgary, and his former club gave him a warm welcome.

The Calgary Flames honored the Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman with a highlight montage in his first game back at Scotiabank Saddledome on Sunday.
Brodie played his first 634 games over 10 seasons with the Flames before signing a four-year contract with Toronto on Oct. 9.
The Flames still celebrated Brodie during the first media timeout, despite the fact no fans were at the Saddledome. Calgary's players also gave him stick taps, which Brodie appreciated.
"It was special," Brodie said after the game, a 3-2 Toronto win. "I owe a lot to the city of Calgary, the teammates, everyone in the organization, fans."
