CALGARY - The Calgary Hitmen scored three goals in a span of 3:07 in the second period en route to a 3-1 win over the Red Deer Rebels in WHL action Friday night.

Rookie Martin Stepan opened the scoring at 4:36 of the second before Carson McMillan scored a power-play goal at 6:58 for the Hitmen. Just 45 seconds later, Adam Ross scored his first goal in a Hitman uniform to put Calgary up 3-0.

Cass Mappin replied for the Rebels late in the second period, but that was all the offence they could muster.
