Calgary Hitmen centre Ryan White win CHL Player of the Week award

TORONTO - Ryan White of the Calgary Hitmen is the Player of the Week, the CHL announced Tuesday.

For the week ending Sunday February 3, White scored five goals and five assists for 10 points in four games.

The 19-year-old native of Brandon, Man., has scored 25 goals to go along with 34 assists for 59 points in 52 games this season.

Meanwhile, Thomas McCollum of the Guelph Storm and Riku Helenius of the Seattle Thunderbirds were both named ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week after posting practically identical numbers last week.

McCollum was 2-0-0-0 with a 0.50 goals against average and .987 save percentage in two games while Helenius was 2-0-0-0 with a 0.50 goals against average and .980 save percentage in two games.
