The Calgary Flames will look to continue their recent success Monday, having won three of their past four games and 12 of their past 17. Defenseman Mark Giordano credits their resurgence on special teams, having scored 11 times on the power play in the past nine games and allowing two goals on 37 penalty kills during that same stretch. "Both our power play and penalty kill have come a long way since the start of the year," Giordano said. "And then 5-on-5, we've solidified a bunch of things. Goaltending has really pushed us through and got us going. Along the way, we've really had some great efforts from both of our goalies, and that goes a long way." Chad Johnson, who made 28 saves in a 3-1 win against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday, will start. "It feels good," Johnson said. "You always want results, that's what it's about. I felt good about my game. Sometimes you run into tough teams and you don't play well enough to get the win. It's just how it goes. It's nice to get rewarded and get the win. It's good for myself, good for the team. It's something to sort of build on."
