Calgary beats Oil Kings 5-2 on strength of Broda's three points @NHLdotcom

EDMONTON - Joel Broda led the Hitmen with two goals and an assist as Calgary beat the Edmonton Oil Kings 5-2 in Western Hockey League play Friday night.

Brandon Kozun had a goal and two assists for Calgary (11-3-0), while Ian Schultz and Chris Schaber also scored for the Hitmen. Netminder Michael Snider stopped 31 shots for his sixth win of the season

Tomas Vincour and Brett Breitkreuz scored for Edmonton (6-7-2). Torrie Jung and Cam Lanigan shared goaltending duties for the Oil Kings. Jung allowed five goals on 22 shots.
