It's safe to say everyone who calls the Toronto Maple Leafs their favorite team was sky-high after their 3-1 victory against the Boston Bruins on Monday that forced Game 7 in the Eastern Conference First Round, but perhaps nobody was more excited than longtime Maple Leafs play-by-play man Joe Bowen on Sportsnet 590 The Fan.
As the third period went on, Bowen's voice seemed to get louder and louder with each near miss or great save, but he let loose following Tomas Plekanec's empty-net goal that assured the Maple Leafs and Bruins would go the distance.

No sooner than the puck was in the net that Bowen shot his left fist into the air, then pumped his right fist as he shouted, "We're going to Boston, baby!" before what had to be a hand-stinging high-five with analyst Jim Ralph.
The moment was certainly more emotional, given the tragedy in Toronto earlier Monday, when a van drove onto a crowded sidewalk, leaving 10 dead and 15 injured, which Ralph put into perspective on his twitter feed.
