Brandon Crawley scored a power-play goal for the Rangers to tie it 1-1 2:55 into the third. Joseph Blandisi gave the Devils a 1-0 lead with a power-play goal 8:41 into the second period. Henrik Lundqvist made 23 saves playing two periods for New York. Brandon Halverson made eight saves in relief. Cory Schneider made 17 saves for New Jersey.
