Button scores in overtime as Prince Albert Raiders edge Vancouver 3-2

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. - Ryan Button scored with 54 seconds left in overtime to give the Prince Albert Raiders a 3-2 comeback win over the visiting Vancouver Giants in Western Hockey League action Saturday night.

Prince Albert forced overtime when Brandon Herrod scored a short-handed goal with 5:22 left in the third period.

Igor Revenko also scored for the Raiders (29-27-5), who moved to within one point of the eighth and final playoff position in the Eastern Conference.

Brendan Gallagher scored both goals for Vancouver (37-20-5) against former Giants goaltender Jamie Tucker.

Tucker, who was traded in January, made 29 saves in his first start against his former team.

Mark Segal had a 40-save night for the Giants, the second-place team in the Western Conference.
