Busto scores with less than one second left as Kootenay beats Calgary 4-3

CRANBROOK, B.C. (CP) - Mike Busto scored a power-play goal with less than one second left in the game as the Kootenay Ice post a 4-3 win over the Calgary Hitmen in Western Hockey League action Saturday.

Busto's wrist shot went off the goalie's shoulder and crossed the goal line before time expired.

Busto also scored in the first period. Ryan Russell had a short

handed goal while Arnaud Jacquemet had a power-play marker for Kootenay (36-13-2-3).

Ryan White, Derek LeBlanc and Brodie Dupont scored for Calgary (28-20-2-4), which had its winning streak halted at three games.

Kris Lazaruk made 25 saves for the win, while Dan Spence stopped 30 shots at the other end.
