Burmistrov scores twice, Barrie Colts beat Oshawa Generals 6-4 in OHL play @NHLdotcom

BARRIE, Ont. - Alexander Burmistrov had two goals and an assist to help the Barrie Colts down the Oshawa Generals 6-4 in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday night.

Luke Pither opened the scoring for Barrie early in the first period. Kyle Clifford, Taylor Carnevale and Stefan Della Rovere also had goals for the Colts (46-8-2).

John Padulo, Andy Andreoff and Christian Thomas replied for the Generals (21-31-5).

Barrie's Mavric Parks turned away 28 shots, while Michael Zador made 49 saves in defeat for Oshawa.
