Bureau scores twice, including game winner, as Mississauga downs Kingston 6-4 @NHLdotcom

KINGSTON, Ont. - Corey Bureau had a pair of goals, including the game winner 5:58 into the third period, as the Mississauga-St. Michael's Majors downed the Kingston Frontenacs 6-4 in OHL action Friday night.

With the Majors (2-1-0-0) leading 4-3 early in the third, Bureau's first goal of the season extended the advantage to two goals. Nathan Moon answered with his second goal of the game 56 seconds later for the Frontenacs (0-2-0-0), but Bureau restored the two-goal lead with six minutes left in regulation.

Michael Pelech, Jared Gomes, Devante Smith-Pelly and Kyle Neuber also scored for the Majors, while JP Anderson stopped 22 shots to earn the win.

Josh Brittain and Ethan Werek had singles for the Frontenacs, who had 31 saves from Mavric Parks in defeat.
