Bunz makes 36 saves as the Tigers shutout the Rebels 2-0 @NHLdotcom

RED DEER, - Tyler Bunz turned aside all 36 shots he faced as the Medicine Hat Tigers shutout the Red Deer Rebels 2-0 on Tuesday in Western Hockey League action.

Patrik Parkkonen and Matthew Konan each scored for the Tigers (21-12-4) while Curtis Valk assisted on both.

Deven Dubyk made 18 saves in defeat for the Rebels (16-17-3), who have now lost eight of their last 10 games.

Medicine Hat went 2-for-6 on the power play as Red Deer failed to score on five opportunities with the man advantage.

The shutout was Bunz's third of the season, tying him for first in the league with Ty Rimmer of the Tri-City Americans and Drew Owsley of the Prince George Cougars.
